The First Tee of Greater Austin Member Spotlight for September shines on Sam Greenberg, a 5-year veteran of the TFTGA program, nominated by Jordan Jones, our Program Development Manager.Originally introduced to the First Tee when his father began playing at the Harvey Penick Golf Campus, Sam credits the program with teaching him leadership and life skills, as well as developing his golf game. When asked for his favorite thing about the program, Sam says, "...The First Tee provides a diverse community that is based on good values and morals."
Sam, who is 16 and a sophomore in his home school program, has achieved Ace Level, a significant accomplishment! He plans to continue participating in TFTGA programs, as they have "...already influenced my golf career and will probably play a role in my high school and college career too."
Another key benefit of the First Tee cited by Sam is that he has met many great people through the program and is looking forward to meeting many more. If you haven't yet met Sam, come on out and hit a few balls with him!
