The Harvey Penick Golf Campus (HPGC) is a PGA TOUR-designed 112-acre public facility that features a par 30, 9-hole course w/ three par fours and six par threes. The course is fun for beginners and challenging for accomplished players, with four sets of tees to accommodate all players. The course serves as a campus for the First Tee of Greater Austin and all profits from the operation of the golf course directly benefit the First Tee kids.
Austin-area residents in the know about this terrific facility use HPGC frequently to practice their game, as well as play full rounds. Ramesh Radhakrishnan, an engineer with Dell, plays weekly as one of our Par members, which allows him unlimited play on the course. When asked how membership at Harvey Penick has helped his game, Ramesh says, "...it's a great facility for practice and improving my game. I play more golf due to my membership at HPGC, as it is easy to finish a round in under two hours. I use the Par 3 course as well when I am short on time.... the membership rates make it worthwhile...".
