Mentors The First Tee of Greater Austin is honored to have more than 100 mentors registered, but we always need more. Each mentor goes through a mentor training program and a background check before they are eligible to volunteer. 60% of our mentors are professional individuals volunteering for their community, while 24% are students and 16% are retired citizens. 40% of our mentors are female and 60% are male. Annually mentors donate more than $50,000 in volunteer time. (Value of donated time calculated according to independent sector guidelines)
Committee Volunteers The First Tee of Greater Austin recruits more than 100 committee volunteers to help them better manage their program, facilities and fundraising efforts. If you are interested in an administrative volunteer position, please consider joining of the following committees.
