Julie currently serves her community in many areas. She has served on the First Tee of Greater Austin board for 6 years and on the Greater Austin youth Foundation board for 3 years. She also served as a Board Member for West Austin Youth Association and Young Life Development Board. Julie has chaired numerous events including "Chipping in with Ben Crenshaw" an event that raised $800,000 over a 3-year period for their daughter’s school endowment.
She has served as secretary of the Seton Development Board and In addition, Julie worked on raising money for former baseball team owner, George W. Bush, for his Gubernatorial Campaign and both Presidential Campaign where she and her husband were recognized as pioneers. For 2 years she organized the 1999 Ryder Cup festivities for players, wives and fans. She also served on various committees benefiting causes such as Children's Hospital and the Arthritis Foundation.
Julie served as the Girl’s Golf Booster Club president for three years at Austin High where her children attend(ed) school. Julie and her husband, Ben, have been married for 21years and have 3 children: Katherine, Claire and Anna Riley.
